We deliver relief and development assistance to individuals in more than 130 countries—regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, gender, or religious association.

By partnering with local communities, organizations, and governments, we are able to deliver culturally relevant programs and build local capability for sustainable change.

Anush Safaryan

Country director

“Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” – probably someone like Anush, the Country Director of ADRA Armenia inspired Mark Twain to assume so. Through the past five years of working with ADRA Armenia, Anush enjoyed every day of her challenging but also rewarding humanitarian work. “ADRA has enriched my days with beautiful colors painted by the results we achieved with our beneficiaries. Due to ADRA projects, I was blessed to hear children’s happy laughter, feel the relief of poor people after accepting assistance, sense the satisfaction of house-women after securing water-supply, see the excitement of smart students getting better educational facilities, notice the ease in the eyes’ of the IDPs, sense the comfort of the sick after   receiving medical help and many more other favours. If you want to be beyond blessed experiencing the blessings of others too, do humanitarian work”.- says Anush.

Susanna Arakelyan

Finance Director

They say accounting does not love emotions, they are just figures, but not for the Finance Director of ADRA Armenia. Susanna, who works with ADRA for already 5 years, knows the story and destination of each coin that is circulated at ADRA. Every little coin matters. Money has never been as powerful as when it is used by ADRA, to change lives. Accountants know currencies like Dollar, Euro or Dram, Susanna knows other currencies, such as – a present for one child. For Suzan, one dollar is not just a booke-note, but an equivalent of meeting a need for a child. This is why, Susanna, besides caring the huge responsibility of managing finances for the organization, goes out of her office and meets the beneficiaries in the field, not only managing the money in the office but also exchanging them into happiness, satisfaction and fulfilment… only then she considers her work successful.
