A common problem among Armenian communities is unemployment. Men have to leave to work abroad to address family issues back home and satisfy their needs. Some of basic reasons for unemployment is being unprepared for unforeseen situations or other changes in the community that affects livelihoods. Absence of water supply for irrigation, lack of knowledge on means of support are other reasons that cause difficulties to sustain a standard quality life. ADRA is implementing projects of relief and development to support families and communities to sustain their basic household needs. Helping someone provide for themselves provides changes that will last a lifetime and effects that can be seen for generations.
